As our Cook at Atelier by Sofitel, you will play an essential role in demonstrating the “Passion for Excellence” through serving our guests with flair and professionalism, ensure all guests are provided with personalised service and embody the art of French hospitality through a “can do” attitude. Other duties include, but not limited to:Knowledge of all basic cooking methods including preparation of meats, vegetables and fruits.Assist in setting up station for breakfast, lunch or dinnerAssist in preparing, cooking, plating In Room Dining menu items and special requests that guests may requestAssist in preparing and setting up breakfast in Garden Court Restaurant and Club Lounge according to hotel and Sofitel Breakfast guidelines.Assist in setting up afternoon tea and evening cocktail at Club LoungeMeeting and where possible exceeding customer and guest expectations, enabling the Food & Beverage operation of the hotel to be recognized as purveying consistent, quality and value for money cuisine.Ensuring food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques meet Sofitel Brand Standard and are maintained at that level.Ensuring the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintain to meet Work Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.Accountable for the cleanliness and maintenance of all equipment, counter tops, and shelves.Cultivate a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks by which quality improvement is driven.Adherence to Emergency Communication procedures ensuring that enquiries from the media are only responded to by the nominated spokespersonStrive to implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of Accor Values.Any other duties assigned by your manager.
